Help us advertise Notacon by designing the shirt worn by attendees of Notacon 2009! Become a part of Notacon history and have your art displayed by like minded individuals around the world. The suggested themes are: art, music, creativity, technology and community.
Submissions Due: March 1, 2009
Design Requirements
- Art must be Adobe Photoshop (*.psd) at 600dpi or Adobe Illustrator (*.eps or *.ai) format. Slogans will also be considered, please use a .txt format.
- Please limit the design to 4 colors on your 'main' side and 1 color on the other side. Each color must be in it's own layer as it will be screen printed. Also indicate in which order you would like the layers applied, if necessary.
- Please specify the color of the shirt(background). We may not be able to do exact matching, but will do our best.
- Minimum design width of 6" (3600px if *.psd) on your 'main' side. Maximum size is 12" x 12" (7200px x 7200px).
If you have any questions regarding these requirements, please email tshirts2009-at-notacon.org with the subject "notacon tshirt submission" and we'll help out as best we can.
Although it is not required, we strongly encourage incorporation of the word "Notacon" and/or "Blockparty" on the shirt, as well as the dates of the event (April 16-19, 2009) and the location (Cleveland, Ohio). We may add this information to your entry if we feel it would be in good taste. Use of the NAC logo is also encouraged. Official Notacon/Blockparty resources.
Shirt designs must be appropriate for public display. A design can be edgy, but the judging panel reserve the right to deem a shirt inappropriate. You can trust that we do have a sense of humor!
Submission Procedure
Email submissions to tshirt2009-at-notacon.org with the subject "Notacon tshirt submission" to make sure it gets past our spam filters. Submissions must be received by March 1, 2009 at 9:00pm.
Files must be named with the format [your_name_or_handle]-[#]-{front,back}.{psd,eps,ai,txt}. Increment the number for multiple submissions. Replace spaces in your handle with underscores (_). Enclosing brackets not required. Ex: Your_Name-2-front.psd
